Apart from our own Cinemateket screenings, prints from the collections are screened more than 300 times a year at foreign archives which are members of the international federation of film archives FIAF. Prints are also lent for screenings at festivals in and outside Sweden. Prints and other elements from the collections are also borrowed by other archives for preservation and restoration purposes.
Films from the collections are accessed by the National Library of Sweden, where digital viewing copies are made for research purposes.
Rights holders access elements in the collections used as source elements to create new digital elemetns to be used for broadcast or home entertainment purposes.
Elements from the collections are accessed more than 1,700 times a year.
