Since we do not hold the rights to the films in our collections, we are unable to provide members of the public with viewing copies on dvd or in file format.
As a non-professional individual you can book viewing prints from the collection for screenings in one of the Film Institute theatres. For more information on the booking of the theatres, please contact bio@sfi.se. In addition to the rental fee for the theatre, we charge a handling fee of SEK 700 for feature-length films and SEK 350 for short films. Prints from the collections must be booked with the archive at least five days prior to the screening.
The catalogue of our holdings is available on all public computers in the SFI Library. If you are unable to visit our library, please contact us via e-mail or phone.
You are also welcome to submit film requests to Cinemateket for screenings in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö.
