Having left school, Kristin plans to go to New York and write a chronicle for her local paper back home. But after a drunken party, she misses her plane. Instead of going home, she hides away in a house in the middle of nowhere in the company of the rather oddball Andrea, and starts reporting from "NY". But reality soon starts to catch up with her.
